WHO I AM

Rico DiMattia is a licensed associate Broker, Auctioneer and Contractor in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. He has over 32 years experience in land based businesses. Rico's passion is to help people understand that, "The basis to all wealth is land."

He is a well traveled innovator with multiple new company start ups under his belt. Rico has long been recognized for his marketing prowess and sales closing abilities.

His agrarian background, farming, ranching, timber, responsible land development, livestock and food enterprises have earned him a depth and breadth of knowledge that is rarely seen in the real estate arena. DiMattia has been a multi million dollar producer for years and continues to pursue his clients' and customers' goals with diligence. His fun loving style is easy going and natural with a quiet integrity and determination that most people take comfort in.

With that said, Rico offers real time savvy that makes buying and selling real estate simple and efficient with few if any surprises. He does business on a personal basis and treats every transaction as if it were his own.He is straight up and straight forward. His mantra has been and continues to be, "PLAIN & SIMPLE, TRIED & TRUE".

Rico and his wife Faith reside on the banks of the Pocomoke River near Cedar Hall. They enjoy their church, family and home, the water and their horses; especially cowboy mounted shooting.

"Rapid Results Sales & Listing Program!"

  •  This new proprietary program is working very effectively in spite of current market conditions! Call Rico at 410-957-0000 for your personal and private property evaluation.

How I See It...

  • Exhiliration about potential profits and mortgage products that were based on double digit appreciation that required buyers to have little or no skin in the game have put the market where it is today. There's nothing new about greed corrupting itself. With that noted I highly recommend considering downsizing, simplifying and economizing when it pertains to housing. Refinancing may be the least attractive option if you don't need all the square footage. In times like these, "LESS IS MORE!".

Lay of the Land...

  • Consumer confidence, mortgage approvals, energy costs, unemployment, political landscapes, the economy will have to all figure themselves out. Who ever would pretend to predict how all that will evolve in 2008 is just kidding theirself.
  • Here is one thing you can count on. Every one on the planet is involved in real estate. That's right every one. It affects us all. Wether it's time or not to be a renter, home owner, investor, builder or developer. That's the question. As long as there are people there will be property needs, wants and desires. The neccessity of having to have that occur will propel the forces of human kind to make it happen.
  • It is all good! Reason being, everyone wants to own their own piece of the planet. Two-thirds of the population is transient. Someone is buying, selling, leasing, renting, razing, building, speculating, investing, and exchanging all the time. This is the greatest business in the world. One of the keys to having real estate to benefit you and yours is to stay properly and adequately positoned.
  • The Lower Shore is unique, in that, it is a peninsula, surrounded by water. With the finishing of the dualization of US 113, the area is fast becoming an alternate route to I-95. Pocomoke itself located at US 13 and 113 is developing into an epicenter of activity. With that said, even though the property market will cycle, as all businesses do, all the fundamentals for solid investment remain intact. Simply put, more people want to live in an area where there is less land.

  • Our activity sky-rocketed due to a cavy of satisfied buyers and sellers. Our referral business continues to blossom because of our ability to provide the following; clean, concise, full-value, easy, and timely settlements.
